Delete your account

In the app

Open MyCharacter AI, go to the You tab, then Settings and privacy, then Delete account, and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account, profile, characters, chats, memory notes, library, blocks, settings and usage counters straight away.

Without the app

Email us from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We will delete it and the data listed above within 30 days and confirm by email.

What we keep

Reports you filed are kept with your identity removed, for up to 180 days after they are resolved, so moderation decisions can be reviewed. Cloudflare server logs, which contain no message text, expire after a few days.
